Highly experienced Safety Professional with background in Electrical Distribution, Transmission or Substations, and experience conducting Safety Audits.
Position Details:
• Industry: Electrical Distribution, Transmission, and Substations
• Duration: 6 Months (Either straight, or month on - month off, or 2 weeks on -2 weeks off)
• Location: Denver, CO
• Pay Rate: $Generous, depending on experience
• Start Date: August/September 2025
Role:
• Conducting safety audits on work crews carrying out repair and upgrade of equipment including conductors, wooden poles, mostly OH but some UG
• Assessing crews on adherence to OSHA Standards, Best Practice for the Electrical Utility Standards, and General OSHA Construction Safety Standards, Fleet safety, Forestry regulatory standards for wildfire crews.
• Carrying out behavior based safety observations, cultural observations, and having an understanding culture within a union environment
Qualifications:
• CUSP preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Distribution, Transmission, or Substation maintenance
• Ideally background working with/for the electrical utilities
• Highly experienced in Safety Regulations and Best Practices relating to Electrical T&D
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
• Ability to conduct site audits, safety training, and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Effective communication and leadership and relationship building skills
